LEO Cinquain Poetry

LEO: La Salle Exploratory Opportunities is debuted in January. LEO is an opportunity for students to extend their thinking and learning. Two to four students from each classroom meet as a small group for 30 minutes each week. Groups change each month as do topics and subject areas. The small group activities are designed to be enriching and of high interest. The January focus was math. The February focus is writing. Students in grades 3-8 have been writing cinquain, a form of patterned poetry, with Mrs. Deutmeyer.
